Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

【出撃レポート】2022年12月11日河原町マルシェ・クリスマスマーケット「サンタ商店街」

宮城県仙台市の河原町商店街で開催されたイベント「サンタ」商店街に出撃しました。
藩政時代より仙台城下の南の玄関口として栄えてきた庶民的なまち河原町。
現在では個性豊かなショップが軒を連ね仙台市が指定する景観重要建造物も点在し、新旧の魅力を合わせ持つ商店街となっています。
街の認知度向上やより楽しい商店街を目指し、昨年に引き続き河原町商店街振興組合主催の河原町マルシェ・クリスマスマーケット「サンタ商店街」が開催され、沢山の人たちが訪れました。
私たちは、サンタウォークラリー参加の親子と一緒に商店街を歩いたり、クリスマス合唱や大道芸を鑑賞したり、商店街を訪れた方々やお店の方々と記念撮影をして、楽しいひとときを過ごしました。

Kawaramachi is a popular town that has prospered as the gateway to the south of Sendai Castle since the feudal era.
Today, the area is lined with unique shops and is dotted with important landscape buildings designated by the city of Sendai.
Aiming to raise awareness of the town and make it a more enjoyable shopping street, the Kawaramachi Marche Christmas Market “Santa Shopping Street” was held by the Kawaramachi Shopping Street Promotion Association, just like last year’s event and many people visited the shopping street.
We, the 501st Legion, had a great time walking around the shopping street with parents and children participating in the Santa Walk Rally, watching Christmas chorus, busking and taking commemorative photos with the people who visited the shopping street and the shopkeepers.
