Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

2月24日　沖縄県　米軍キャンプバトラー内で行われた、米陸軍内の司令官表彰セレモニーに501st（ファイブ・オー・ファースト）日本部隊がサプライズ出撃しました。

The Force is strong with the U.S. Army‘s 1-1 Air Defense Artillery unit! Echo Company requested a secret appearance of the 501st at this year‘s annual Saint Barbara’s Military Ball. The other companies learned not to underestimate the power of Echo Company as two TKs escorted Lord Vader for their company‘s contribution to the traditional artillery “Grog Bowl” ceremony. The entire ballroom erupted into cheers when the doors burst open and Imperial forces marched in to participate in the ceremony. It will be a day long remembered for the U.S. Army on Okinawa…
