Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

旧車を使ったジムカーナ競技や展示が行われる、第70回湘南ヒストリックカークラブ（SHCC）のミーティングイベントが、大磯ロングビーチ駐車場にて開催されました。
危うく終日雨天に見舞われるところでしたが、なんとか日中は天気も持ち堪えてくれました。
501st日本部隊は、メイク・ア・ウィッシュ・オブ・ジャパン（MAWJ）に招かれて、2018年以降6年ぶりの参加となりました。
MAWJの皆さんにとってもコロナ禍以降久々の参加で、やっと心配がなくなりイベント参加できることを喜んでおられました。
私たちは、MAWJのバザーブースの応援と、神奈川県西部のボーイスカウト、ガールスカウトの皆さんと一緒に募金活動をお手伝いしました。
会場の皆さんの温かいご協力と子どもたちの大きな声かけの奮闘の成果で、バザーの売上と寄付金の合計は約6万円に上り、今回の募金活動は過去に例を見ないほどの良い結果となりました。

The 70th Shonan Historic Car Club (SHCC) meeting event has been held at the Oiso Long Beach parking lot, featuring gymkhana competitions using old cars and exhibitions. We almost had rain all day, but the weather managed to hold out during the day.
The 501st Japanese Garrison contingent was invited by Make the Wish of Japan (MAWJ) to participate for the first time in 6 years since 2018.
It had been a long time since the Covid pandemic for everyone at MAWJ, and they were happy to finally be able to participate in the event without having to worry.
We supported the MAWJ bazaar booth and helped raise funds with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of western Kanagawa area.
Thanks to the warm cooperation of everyone at the event and the efforts of the children’s cheerful voice, the total sales and donations from the bazaar amounted to approximately 60,000 yen,
This fundraising effort was one of the best in the past.
