宮城県亘理郡山元町で開催されている、「2023コダナリエ」に出撃しました。
東日本大震災の発生直後から、国内外の人々からの多くの支援への恩返し、そして山元町が元気になっていく姿を見てもらうきっかけとして始まった町民手作りのイルミネーションイベントに、今年も参加することができました。
我々は山元町町長のスピーチタイムに、山元町PRキャラクターホッキーくんとともに護衛として登壇。
そして、宮城県の大学生有志による「シャボン玉アート」のイベントに参加しました。
その後も来場者の方々と一緒に写真撮影をおこなったり、あたたかく光り輝く希望の光と、美しいシャボン玉に包まれながら、素敵なクリスマスイブの夜を過ごしました。

Immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake, an illumination event handmade by the town’s residents began as a way to give back to the many people in Japan and abroad for their support, and as an opportunity to see Yamamoto Town becoming more vibrant.
We were able to participate again this year. We appeared on stage as bodyguards during the Yamamoto Town Mayor’s speech time, along with Yamamoto Town’s PR character Hocky-kun.
We also participated in a “soap bubble art” event organized by university student volunteers from Miyagi Prefecture.
Afterwards, we posed for photos with the visitors and spent a wonderful Christmas Eve night surrounded by the warm, shining light of hope and beautiful soap bubbles.
