Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

Fundraising Results

TCC2日目（11/26）には、最も多くの来場者があり、この日のミッションのために約24名の隊員が配備されました。
前日同様、グリーティングラインを設置し、一部の隊員をスター・ウォーズのフォトバックドロップゾーンに配備させました。
多くのファンがメンバーとの写真撮影やグリーティングに訪れていました。
ブースでの活動（CRLクイズゲーム、トルーパー・ターゲット・トレーニング・スクールの活動）は継続し、チャリティー・ラッフルバスケットのプレゼントにも力を入れました。
チャリティー募金箱を設置し、メイク・ア・ウィッシュ・ジャパンを支援するための募金を集めました。
500円の寄付につき1枚のラッフルチケットをお渡ししました。
抽選会の賞品は、メンバー、ディズニー・ジャパン、TCC委員会から寄付されました。
合計で19,300円の寄付が集まりました。
15:00からディズニー・ポップアップ・ストア前にて、ディズニー・ジャパンのご招待によるフォトセッションを行いました。
パレード隊列を組んでポップアップストアまで行進し、10分間の撮影を行った後、自衛隊の展示コーナーに立ち寄り、自衛隊との記念撮影を行い、再びパレード隊列を組んでブースエリアに戻ってきました。
途中、多くのファンが列をなして挨拶してくれ、楽しいひとときとなりました。
サプライズで、C3POのアンソニー・ダニエルズさんが突然、501st日本部隊、Rebel Legion Japan BaseとDroid Builders Japanのメンバーと一緒に写真を撮るために、ブースに立ち寄っていただきました。

Day 2 of TCC (11/26) we had had the highest number of visitors and we had about 24 members deployed for this day’s mission.
As with the previous days we set up a meet & greet line and then relocated some of our troops to the Star Wars photo backdrop zone. Many fans came to take photos and greet members in costume.
We continued our booth activities (CRL quiz game, Trooper Target Training School activity) but also focused our efforts towards the charity raffle basket giveaway.
We set up a charity donation box and collected donations to support Make A Wish Japan.
For every 500 yen donation a person gave they received a raffle prize ticket.
Prizes for the raffle were donated from members, Disney Japan & the TCC committee. In total we raised 19,300 yen for MAWJ.
Disney Japan invited us for a photo session located in front of the Disney Pop Up store at 15:00.
We formed a parade line and marched in formation to the pop up store for a 10 minute session , dropped by the Japan Self Defense Forces exhibition area for a photo opportunity with them and then paraded back to our booth area.
It was a fun experience with many fans lined up to greet us along the way.
During the day C3PO actor Anthony Daniels kindly dropped by shared booth area for photos with members of JG, RL & DB. The weather was rainy outside all day but it did not spoil the Comic Con festivities happening inside.
