東日本大震災後、国内外の支援への恩返しと、山元町の復興を伝えるために始まった町民手作りのイルミネーションイベント。
今年も私たちは、山元町町長やPRキャラクター「ホッキーくん」とともに点灯のカウントダウンを行い、その後は宮城県の大学生有志による「シャボン玉アート」や来場者との記念撮影を楽しみました。

The community-made illumination event began after the Great East Japan Earthquake to repay support from Japan and abroad and showcase the revitalization of Yamamoto Town.
This year, we once again joined the Mayor of Yamamoto Town and the town’s PR character, “Hokky-kun,” for the countdown to the illumination lighting. Afterwards, we enjoyed participating in the “Soap Bubble Art” event organized by university student volunteers from Miyagi Prefecture, as well as taking commemorative photos with attendees.
