前回、前々回と雨天に阻まれたGreen bird歌舞伎町チームの活動でしたが、１か月半ぶりに開催されました。
1か月も空くと、季節は十分に変わったことを実感します。蒸し暑い・・
全参加者は50名、今回は初めての参加者が多かったです。
環境問題に関心があり、Green birdに興味を持ったアメリカの留学生の皆さんも参加し、久々に大所帯の活動となりました。
501stは3名のキャラクター、2名のサポートの構成で参加しました。
活動後の終礼で、Green bird歌舞伎町チームが先日「カムバック賞」という賞を本部から受賞したという話を聞きました。
詳しい受賞理由は聞けていませんが、名前からしてコロナ禍後の活発な活動を讃えての受賞だろうと思います。
チーム参加は7年目、その間細々とではありますが継続してきた我々なので、少しは受賞に貢献できたかなと自負しています。
次回の開催は7月4日（火）です。

The activities of the Green Bird Kabukicho team had been hindered by rain the previous two times, but they were held again after a month and a half.
When a whole month passes, we truly feel the change of seasons. It was so humid…
We had a total of 50 participants, many of whom were first-time participants.
American students who were interested in environmental issues and had an interest in Green Bird also participated, making it a large-scale activity after a long time.
The 501st participated with three characters and two support members.
During the closing remarks after the activity, I heard that the Green Bird Kabukicho team had recently received a “Comeback Award” from the headquarters.
I didn’t hear the detailed reason for the award, but judging from the name, I think it was an award praising our vigorous activities after the COVID-19 crisis.
This is the seventh year of our team’s participation, and although we have continued in a small way, we are proud to think that we may have contributed somewhat to winning the award.
The next GB event will be held on July 4th (Tue).
