米軍横田基地で開催された、第1回　Yokota Comic Conに出撃しました。
横田基地での試験的な開催のため、入場者は米軍関係者のみでしたが、多くの来場者が訪れ大盛況となりました。
今回での実績を踏まえ、今後一般公開になるといいですね。
会場内には、501st、レベルリージョン、セイバーギルドのブースが設置。
また、会場入り口では来場者へのグリーティングを行い、その後は会場内を巡回し、来場者との写真撮影を楽しみました。

This was the first year for Yokota Comic Con and somewhat of a trial event to see if they will continue next year & onwards.
It was a closed base event limited to base personal, their families and invitees.
We were kindly allocated a shared booth for the 501st, Rebel and Saber Guild right in the center of the venue within close proximity to the main stage. Excellent location. 

Our initial mission was to have photographs with some of the celebrities but that was cancelled as the special guests were not able to move to the main venue signing area before opening time.
Our next main mission was to meet & greet all the comic con attendees upon opening at the entrance.
We then moved to main venue floor by the booth for casual photos with attendees. 

At 1400 James S. accompanied by other members in costume took the stage for an introduction session, both 501st & Rebel Legion.
James did a great job introducing the groups and then saber guild did a demonstration.
Afterwards the remaining hours were left for casual trooping around the venue floor, taking photographs with guests and promoting/recruiting at the booth.
It was a great relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space to move around & interact with guests.
It was a great event, well organized in a rather short time frame, lots of entertainment and warm & friendly guests to take photos with and chat.
I think all attending members for the 501st could relax and enjoy themselves and troop at their own pace. We had a great variety of characters too.
Food was excellent too! Potential to do more or prepare more for next year if it is held again.

Hidekatsu Shibata (Shinron-Dragon Ball, Calgara-One Piece, Sarutobi-Naruto,
King Bradley-Full Metal Alchemist) and Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D Luffy, Kuririn (Dragon Ball). 

There was also a costume contest, video game tournaments, food vendors and a live band.
Plenty of other guest artists at tables and other goods & products ;Godzilla booth, 3D Printing Booth,
T-shirt making booths, models, a themed photo booth, etc.
