Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

2024年5月12日、千葉県茂原市、茂原コミュニティセンターで開催されたこの子どもフェスティバルは、私たちにとって2回目の出撃となりました。
地元の子供たちを楽しませることを目的とした、たくさんのアクティビティが用意された楽しいイベントです。
聴覚障害者や視覚障害者、地元警察や高齢者ボランティア・グループなどのコミュニティ・ヘルパーのための、さまざまなワークショップも企画され、子供さんたちへの教育活動も行われました。
私たちは大勢の家族連れに温かく迎えられ、イベント会場を巡回し、いくつかのアクティビティ・エリアを訪れ、子供たちや家族と写真撮影を楽しみました。
ミッションは成功！

This Children’s Festival held on May 12th, 2024 at Mobara Community Center was our 2nd invitation to this event.
It was a fun afternoon event with lots of activities aimed to entertain local children and also educate them with various workshops for the hearing & seeing impaired, community helpers such as the local police & senior citizen volunteer groups. We were warmly introduced and greeted by a large crowd of families.
Afterwards we patrolled the event grounds, visited some of the activity areas to greet everyone and enjoyed taking photos with kids & families. Mission successful!
