Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

岩手県雫石町が主催する「しずくいし子育ち子ども食堂」のハロウィンイベントに出撃。
手作りのマントで仮装をした34名のお子さんたちと、子ども食堂会場の「まちおこしセンターしずく×CAN」からスタートし、よしゃれ通り商店街の15店舗をまわりました。
たくさんのお菓子をもらった後は、会場に戻って「男厨会」のみなさんが作ってくれたおいしいカレーとデザートをみんな揃っていただきました。
今回私たちは岩手県のイベント初出撃でしたが、とても楽しいハロウィンを過ごすことができました。
イベント終了後、お子さんたちからイラスト付きのお礼状が届きました。
次回はダース・ベイダーも連れていきたいですね

Participated in the Halloween event of “Shizukuishi Child Raising Children’s Restaurant” sponsored by Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture.
The event started at the “Town Revitalization Center Shizuku x CAN” at the children’s cafeteria venue with 34 children dressed up in handmade cloaks, and then visited 15 stores in the Yoshare Dori shopping district.
After receiving lots of sweets, we returned to the venue and enjoyed the delicious curry and desserts made by the Dancyu-kai members.
This was our first sortie at an event in Iwate Prefecture. We had a really fun Halloween.
After the event, we received illustrated thank you cards from the children.
Next time I’d like to bring Darth Vader too.
