Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

【出撃レポート】2023.06.24 猪苗代湖クリーンアクション2023 Vol.2

福島県郡山市湖南町で行われた、猪苗代湖クリーンアクション2023 Vol.2に参加しました。
猪苗代湖の湖岸に打ち上げられたヨシくずが、その後腐敗して猪苗代湖の水質悪化の一因となることから、回収することで水質悪化を未然に防止する効果が期待できます。
私達は受付付近で参加者の方のお出迎えを行い、その後一部の動きやすいキャラクターだけ残してコスチュームを脱ぎ、参加者の皆さんと主にヨシくずの回収撤去作業を行い、猪苗代湖の環境美化活動に協力しました。
軽トラ4台分程度のヨシくずが回収されました。
(清掃作業のため一部ブーツの代わりに長靴を使用しています）

Since reed waste washed up on the shore of Lake Inawashiro subsequently decomposes and causes water quality deterioration in Lake Inawashiro, collection can be expected to prevent water quality deterioration.
We greeted the participants near the reception desk, then took off our costumes leaving only a few easy-to-move characters, and mainly collected and removed reed waste with the participants to cooperate in environmental beautification activities at Lake Inawashiro.
Recovery of reed waste equivalent to 4 light trucks
(They use rain boots instead of boots for cleaning work.)
