Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

今年の東京コミコン2024も、501stはレベルリージョンとドロイドビルダーズの３団体合同ブースを構え、大勢の来場者を迎えました。
今回も募金活動とラッフル抽選会を開催し、1日目の募金はドナルド・マクドナルドハウス様向けに、2日目はメイク・ア・ウィッシュオブジャパン様向けに、3日目は能登半島被災者様支援向けにそれぞれ開催しました。
特に3日目は、輪島市の関係者が私たちのブースを訪れ、いつか輪島を賑わしに来てほしいとおっしゃっていたのが印象的でした。今後も支援を続けたい思いを新たにしました。

At this year’s Tokyo Comic-Con, the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Droid Builders set up a joint booth and welcomed a large number of visitors. We also held fundraising activities and a raffle draw. On the first day, the donations were for the Ronald McDonald House, on the second day for Make-A-Wish Japan, and on the third day for the victims of the Noto Peninsula disaster.

On the third day, it was particularly memorable when representatives from Wajima visited our booth and expressed their hope that we would come to enliven Wajima someday. This renewed our commitment to continue our support in the future.
