Who We Are

第501軍団日本部隊（501st Legion Japanese Garrison）は、「スター・ウォーズ」シリーズの世界に登場する悪役、モラルに欠けるキャラクター、善悪の派閥に属さないキャラクターを表現したコスチュームの制作と着用を通じて、スター・ウォーズを賞賛する国際コスチューム組織「The 501st Legion（第501軍団）」の日本支部です。コスチューミング活動を通じて、病院や施設などの慰問ボランティア、基金活動、国内外ファンや国内・海外メンバーとの積極的なコミュニケーション、地域貢献活動を行っています。

猪苗代湖の湖岸に打ち上げられたヨシくずが、その後腐敗して猪苗代湖の水質悪化の一因となることから、回収することで水質悪化を未然に防止する効果が期待できます。
私達は受付付近で参加者の方のお出迎えを行い、その後コスチュームを脱ぎ、参加者の皆さんと主にヨシくずの回収撤去作業を行い、猪苗代湖の環境美化活動に協力しました。（軽トラ数台分程度のヨシくずを回収）

As the reed dust launched on the lake bank of Lake Inawashiro has since decayed, it can be expected to prevent water quality deterioration by collecting it.
We greeted the participants near the reception desk, then took off our costumes, mainly collecting and removing reed waste with the participants, and cooperated with Lake Inawashiro’s environmental beautification activities.(Recovery of reed waste equivalent to several light tigers)
