猪苗代湖の湖岸に打ち上げられたヨシくずが、その後腐敗して猪苗代湖の水質悪化の 一因となることから、回収することで水質悪化を未然に防止する効果が期待できます。
私達は受付付近で参加者の方のお出迎えを行い、その後コスチュームを脱ぎ、参加者の皆さんと主にヨシくずの回収撤去作業を行い、猪苗代湖の環境美化活動に協力しました。（軽トラ数台分程度のヨシくずを回収）
