今年で第7回の開催となる大江戸新座祭りに501st日本部隊が出撃しました。
大江戸新座祭り自体は歴史の新しいイベントではあるものの、地元に30年以上続く新座の阿波踊り文化を守るために企画されたイベントです。

あいにく小雨の降り続く天気ではありましたが、ふるさと新座館の屋根のある入口スペースを使わせていただき、そこで来場者を賑わしました。
ふるさと新座館はアトラクションの準備で子供たちが使っていたこともあって、たくさんの子供たちと撮影時間を楽しみました。
なかにはスター・ウォーズが大好きで、私たちの登場を待ち構えてくれていたお子さんもいたようです。

夕方の開会式では開催宣言、テープカットの盛り上げ役として参加しました。短い時間ながらもメンバー一同、トルーピングの楽しさを感じる日となりました。

This year, the Oedo Niiza Festival was held for the seventh time and was a lively event.
Although the Oedo Niiza Festival itself is a new event in history, it is an event designed to preserve the Niiza Awaodori culture that has continued in the local community for more than 30 years.

Unfortunately, the weather was drizzling, but we were allowed to use the roofed entrance space of the Furusato Niiza Pavilion and crowded the visitors there.
Since the Furusato Niiza Pavilion was being used by children to prepare for the attraction, we enjoyed our photo time with many children.
Some of the children loved Star Wars and were eagerly awaiting our appearance.

In the evening, we participated in the opening ceremony by declaring the event open and cutting the ribbon.
Although it was only a short time, it was a day for all the members to experience the joy of trooping.
